讲座内容简介:2005年毕业于清华大学材料科学与工程系,获博士学位;2006年于宁波工程学院材料所工作至今,2007年晋升为副教授,2010年晋升为研究员。现为宁波工程学院皇冠执行院长、“风华学者”特聘教授、“材料学”省重点学科带头人、“微纳米结构与器件”学术创新团队负责人;宁波市“领军与拔尖人才”培养工程第一层次人选,浙江省“151”人才培养工程第一层次人选,太原理工大学博士生导师,全国材料新技术发展研究会常务理事;获中国颗粒学会优秀青年科学家奖、宁波市青年科技奖,享受国务院政府特殊津贴。主要从事无机非金属半导体低维纳米材料的可控合成、性能及其器件应用研究,主持承担973计划前期研究专项1项、国家自然科学基金4项,浙江省杰出青年科学基金1项等;已发表SCI 收录论文75篇(第一和通讯作者59篇,影响因子大于3的40篇);申请发明专利21项,已授权7项;应邀为美国科学出版社的《Encyclopedia of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology》撰写其中1章节。

讲座内容简介:

Controlled Growth and Field Emission Properties of Flexible SiC Field Emitters

Flexible field emission (FE) emitters, with their unique advantages of being lightweight and conformable, are promising to enable a wide range of technologies such as roll-up flexible FE displays, e-papers, and flexible light-emitting diodes. In the present work, we demonstrated the growth of highly flexible SiC field emitters with low turn-on fields and excellent emission stabilities. The n-type SiC nanoneedles with ultra-sharp tips and tailored N-doping levels were controlled synthesized via a catalyst-assisted pyrolysis process on carbon fabrics by tailoring the gas mixture and the cooling rate. The investigations on their turn-on fields and the threshold fields as well as the current emission stabilities suggested that the as-synthesized SiC field emitters possessed very excellent properties. Furthermore, characterizations of the FE properties under repeated bending cycles and different bending states revealed that the SiC field emitters were mechanically and electrically robust with unprecedentedly high flexibility and stabilities. These findings underscore the importance of concurrent morphology and composition controls in nanomaterial synthesis and establish SiC nanoneedles as the most promising candidate for flexible FE applications.
